My name is Derek Baker, I am an avid gamer as well as a 3d Modeler & content designer. I am currently doing graphic design in advertising and marketing & computer technical services with a local business. I am also a tech guru when it comes to accessing and fixing computers in my own special way. I have a desire to achieve a better life for me and my family with which I love so dearly. As of late, my health was deteriorating due to a disease that is called May-Thurner's Syndrome. So the one thing that I love so dearly is killing me slowly, unless I do something and its the one thing I very much dislike, in which is call EXCERSIZE. The reason behind it is that I have Gymtimidation, whether its alone or with a friend. 

Brief history of myself, I am a 41 year old male, 375 pounds at 6 foot 4 inch height. I had a sore open up around April 1st on my ankle and could not figure out why till I weighed myself and to my surprise that I reached an unexpected weight limit on April 12th, 2024, of 393 pounds, and needed to do something of it. I read that a spice of cayenne pepper, paprika, and black pepper, with a spoonful of honey in hot water, can reduce inflammation and drop weight really quick. As I measured myself, I soon gotten back to my weight of 375 pounds. But my sore has not closed, or even decided to close, it just gotten worse. 

As of recent, on April 23rd, I went to get my foot looked at and very shook up as  I was woken up due to a health advice from a physician that if you don't get healthy, by the time I hit 50 years of age, I would be 6 feet in the ground. So as of May 1st, I started my journey on the Carnivore Diet. within a week, I lost 10 lbs. The second week, I was more alert and able to heal more quickly.  And my Atopic - eczema stated to clear up much more than ever before, I had little to no back pain and ankle pain.  Since it is now almost a month since I started, I have been able to think more clearly, there are much adverse issues I have noticed that other people have been noticing. For one, cramping and muscle spasms, one such symptom in which can be fixed with electrolytes. but with little to no funds to fix this, I been enduring, but need to look into a fix of the issue. 

Everyone that is on this Carnivore Diet  has been saying to look into LMNT for electrolytes, which has 3 ingredient compound of Magnesium, Potassium, and Salt. I use to get plenty  of potassium from bananas, because its my favorite fruit, but since fruits and vegetables are off the counter, I am taking a pill to help with that and am getting tired of taking a horse pill. As for magnesium, I did not realize there were so many different varieties, of magnesium. These include magnesium citrate, magnesium glycinate, magnesium chloride, magnesium lactate, magnesium malate, magnesium taurate, magnesium sulfate, magnesium oxide, and the one I need to take is Magnesium Glycinate and/or Magnesium Malate. As for salt, I have seen that, regular iodized salt is not good for you because your body cannot absorb it at first but gets stored in your body till the cells can break it down, so I was using Himalayan pink Salt, but finding out the best salt to use is either Sea Salt or Celtic Salt with 22 minerals that the human body can absorb. The Ratio of each should be about 1000mg of Sodium, 200mg of Potassium, and 60mg or Magnesium. 

Now to start my next 30 days as of June 1st along with the Carnivore Diet to incorporate some exercise and Cut my eating to a meal in the morning and one in the evening. As well as to cut out as much sugar substitutes as I can. at first i been using sucrose to get away from sugar, but I am trying to take more than what is expected to take. My wife of 10 years asked me if I could take stevia, but was not sure on if it will give me the same addiction to it as sucrose does. I was explained to me that Tea and coffee are acceptable but I am intolerant to Caffeine so, I am not sure on what to take other than just plain water...  More on the way.
